Over a dozen teens in LeRoy, NY, have been afflicted with tics and other neurological symptoms. When the news of this first broke, many people right away wondered whether Gardasil could be the culprit. Although authorities had said they had ruled out vaccinations as a cause, I did not trust them on this and also suspected the HPV shot. My suspicions were strengthened when I found a forum post confirming that one of the girls had fallen ill after her third Gardasil shot. However, a boy has recently been numbered among the victims, and a youtube user from LeRoy told me that he knows from credible sources that at least three of the 15 kids did not have Gardasil. While there is ample evidence that Gardasil has caused death and illness in many recipients, it does no-one any good to insist on fingering the wrong culprit.
As my viewer pointed out to me, it is now being suspected that the cause of the outbreak may be a chemical spill from a train derailment 40 years ago that dumped cyanide and trichloroethylene into the ground about 4 miles from the school. There was also a local factory that dumped chemicals into a creek next to 2 area schools. The train derailment was never properly cleaned up and it is possible that natural gas wells in the school may be pulling the underground pollution towards the school. There are also rumors that they used fill from the area of the spill to fill in the swamp they built the high school on, and a local company also used to dump chemicals into that swamp.
The official diagnosis has been ‘conversion disorder’ aka ‘mass psychogenic illness’, meaning that it is a psychiatric disorder with no physical cause, but the girls and their parents are not satisfied with this explanation.

The official explanation that the girls’ symptoms are the result of a psychiatric disorder are totally unacceptable and are only adding insult to injury. Given that the US government has a long history of placing the interests of corporations above those of people, their actions and explanations in this case reek of another coverup. Whether the girls’ symptoms are indeed from exposure to chemicals or from something else, the cause needs to be uncovered and dealt with properly. Delaying this is only placing more children at risk and those who do so intentionally to protect corporations should themselves be held accountable for contributing to this harm.

40 years ago…almost all girls at one location…I don’t know? No details on who and how many Gardasil shots but a few of the kids could have psychological problems and not have received G. It’s not all or nothing. We’ll never know unless all the families involved take part in an open forum.

Fluoride is a neurotoxin and it’s probably in the water as well as in dental products. Not saying fluoride caused these Tics but may have had a synergistic effect in more susceptible individuals.

Why don’t the parents in LeRoy have their children’s blood tested for Bornavirus infection? This neurotropic virus infects the central nervous system and has been linked to various neurological disorders. The blood test to detect Bornavirus infection is available in Germany at Diamedis Laboratory, in Bielefeld (costs about $125), and the blood samples can be sent through Fed Ex to Germany. (A member of my own family tested positive for Bornavirus infection), Scientists from Guelph University in Southern Ontario, Canada, have confirmed Bornavirus infection in wild birds and domestic birds. What if the Bornavirus is making the LeRoy children sick? European experts (e.g. Ludwig and Bode) have found an inexpensive anti-viral treatment (amantadine sulfate is available in USA and Canada) to treat Bornavirus infection in humans. I am a nine year old, and have gotten in to intense science in fourth grade. We spend almost two hours a day on our unit in science, land and water. My teacher told me about this case and bought a poster for it, and i was very interested. I searched for many days until i found this great article. Part of this I already knew, for those websites I looked at had at least SOME information. My teacher had already told us about Erin Brokovich, who helped expose chemical dumping in California, and has stepped in to help investigate after being approached by several parents. We didn’t learn much about her, but I know her background. She told us even less about what the teenagers were being sickened with, for she wanted someone who was interested to find out about that. I have been working on the wonderful paragraph I am typing, but haven’t told her anything about my discovery. This is because I want her to flip when she sees my paragraph. Doesn’t surprise me about the train derailment mess. Why wasn’t that cleaned up in the 70′s? Another example of the poorly, or severely under-regulated railroad industry. It’s pathetic whether this is the cause of the disorder or not. I have a railroad company in my town and it is next to impossible to make them accountable for anything. The city, the state, the pollution control agency…all you ever hear is, “We have no jurisdiction”.
Check the Quarry off Gulf Rd. Have any of the girls been there? It is a summertime attraction to young people. It is fed by ground water close to the site of the derailment in 1970.

1980- California State University Northridge I stumbled upon a pamphlet on the Poisoning of America-toxic spills. There is without a doubt that there may be some research inside a University Library. Most likely the railroad/chemical company did there own research and removed dead and suffering animals from the site. If there is no research on this terrible catastrophy it is more like a conspiracy than human error. This area is also in the ” Red Radon Zone.” One of the highest spots for radon in New York. High concentrations of radiation at certain times mixed with the chemicals left in the soil and water supply are highly toxic. Fracking-another question??? Hexachloraphine poisoning was the white dust poisoning that was brought to our attention in Silent Spring by Rachel Carson.
Okay, these two teens are without a doubt NOT afflicted with a neurological disorder nor conversion disorder. The revealing factor is in their presentation and overt dramatization is being inflected. To the untrained eye, it may appear that these girls have no control over the events being demonstrated but in fact, it’s that very force which reveals their actions to be intentional rather than compulsory and due to neurological damage or psychological trauma.
I practiced as a board-certified neurologist for more than 40 years and what these teens and the others I’ve observed on video are demonstrating has no origin in neurologic dysfunction and would also be inconsistent with the true presentations of conversion disorder. Their collective features would be more consistent with pure malingering and choreographed instruction by some person. The problem in all cases is that for every such body movement that is demonstrated to be the compulsory reaction to neurologic dysfunction, there is a direct and localized center of the brain responsible. Physiology in humans is universal in the fundamental context and therefore, these actions cannot exist in any manner without the subsequent evidence of damage to the associated neurologic centers or regions.
It’s obviously uncertain what the intended striving is of these young people associated with the apparent incident, but I can state here with all certainty that not a one of these individuals has suffered neurologic or psychological insult. It is the demonstration of intentional and purposeful actions made to appear compulsory and nothing more.
The young teen who was also heralded in the CNN coverage is shown on video in the emergency room attempting to demonstrate hemi-ballismus, or the uncontrolled and unarticulated movement of a limb. Paying close attention to the architecture of her movements, it can be readily evidenced that she demonstrates very purposeful and graceful movements of the wrist, palmar surface of the hand and the fingers on the afflicted arm during the supposed ballismus. Realize that such fine motor coordination is literally impossible during the threshold of actual ballismus events.
During filming of her appearance on the television show, this same teen has uncontrolled verbal tics at a seemingly variable and intrusive rate until asked what she hopes to gain from her appearance, during which time she is nearly absolved of the tics in order to make her goal intelligible and understood. This inconsistency is neither neurologic nor the product of conversion, but rather controlled intent.
The second teen on the film is less bold and demonstrating the supposed affliction and it is conspicuously ironic that she is also less more introverted than the other teen. True neurologic sequelae bears absolutely no differentiation among the variable personality characteristics among people and the presentation of the injury is as fulminant in one person as it is the other without respect to such traits.
Indeed, this merely constitutes an elaborate hoax for one reason or another and as a retired physician and specialist, I still remain perplexed by the nature and extent to which some individuals strive to impart distance from a reasonable standard of moral conscience.
Someone needs to explore lyme disease as an answer…I was told back in 2007 conversion disorder myself and found out I actually had lat stage lyme. Intensive antibiotic treatment helped. I have since met others and live in NY. Check out the documentary under our skin for more info on lyme.
