Europe to Ban Hundreds of Herbal Remedies

Safety concerns sparked drive to outlaw products

Hundreds of herbal medicinal products will be banned from sale in Britain next year under what campaigners say is a “discriminatory and disproportionate” European law.

With four months to go before the EU-wide ban is implemented, thousands of patients face the loss of herbal remedies that have been used in the UK for decades.

From 1 May 2011, traditional herbal medicinal products must be licensed or prescribed by a registered herbal practitioner to comply with an EU directive passed in 2004. The directive was introduced in response to rising concern over adverse effects caused by herbal medicines.

The UK Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has issued more than a dozen safety alerts in the past two years, including one over aristolochia, a banned toxic plant derivative which caused kidney failure in two women.

Herbal practitioners say it is impossible for most herbal medicines to meet the licensing requirements for safety and quality, which are intended to be similar to those for pharmaceutical drugs, because of the cost of testing.

According to the Alliance for Natural Health (ANH), which represents herbal practitioners, not a single product used in traditional Chinese medicine or ayurvedic medicine has been licensed. In Europe, around 200 products from 27 plant species have been licensed but there are 300 plant species in use in the UK alone.

The ANH estimates the cost of obtaining a licence at between £80,000 and £120,000 per herb. They say this is affordable for single herbal products with big markets, such as echinacea, a remedy for colds and flu, but will drive small producers of medicines containing multiple herbs out of business.

Under EU law, statutorily regulated herbal practitioners will be permitted to continue prescribing unlicensed products. But the Coalition Government and the previous Labour administration have delayed plans to introduce a statutory herbal practitioner register.

This means thousands of patients who rely on herbal treatments face being denied access to them. Medical organisations, including the MHRA, have warned the measures may drive patients to obtain herbal medicines over the internet – where risks are much greater.

Michael McIntyre, the chairman of the European Herbal and Traditional Medicine Practitioners Association, said: “The problem is you can’t get a licence for many herbal medicines because they are grown in people’s back gardens and you can’t patent them. The implications are very serious. Patients want to receive treatment from trained and qualified practitioners but unless we have regulation they can’t have confidence in who is treating them. The worst outcome is that patients will end up going to the internet for their herbal medicines where there are no controls.”

Truthers vs the NWO: 2010 in Review

Written by youtube user Getjiggy

As Britain loses its sovereignty I think it is the right time to recall to mind all our achievements in our fight against tyranny.

1. A little more than 1 year ago truthers completely destroyed the swine flu scam to the point where in the UK only 3% of the population took the swine flu shot.
This was an absolute disaster for the NWO.

This achievement results in any similar vaccination program being extremely vulnerable to credibility issues, as we only have to remind people of the swine flu scam of 2009.

2. At Copenhagen one year ago computer hackers completely destroyed the credibility of the claim of global warming.
This resulted in the immediate questioning by world leaders of the credibility of this claim and as a result, only 5 countries signed-up to carbon-trading.

The income to the NWO through carbon-trading was essential to the NWO to finance their global government.
We destroyed it.
The NWO has therefore lost that income & is about to lose also, funding from the Federal bank of America through the fed being forced to audit long overdue accounts and submit them to congress.

These two valuable incomes are now lost with not much likelihood of the NWO getting them back.

3. The NWO is badly losing the propaganda wars as our truth network keeps going from strength to strength.
The fact that our truth network has destroyed 2 aspects of the NWO’s is proof that the NWO monster has now met a monster of greater strength & power.

We can easily see that there is a very positive element to the UK and other European countries losing their sovereignty at the strike of midnight:

The NWO would be very unwise to accelerate their agenda now that the UK is no longer a sovereign country as this would enrage the populace and could create a physical battle in the streets that would highlight the authorities’ lack of strength when set against angry protesters. We already have seen recently in Greece and Italy that when protesters are enraged enough, even the police riot squads are scared, and tend to stand back and do nothing.
This is the best formula to get the police riot squads “onside”.

Another positive element to this is that we will have enough resolve to free ourselves from the tyranny of monarchy, forever, and monarchies will become a thing of the past.

The big question is, is the NWO feeling lucky?
They have been beaten-down a lot over the last 15 months.
They have been defeated on many aspects of their agenda.

It is inevitable that they are pondering whether to enforce martial law as many European countries lose their sovereignty.
They know that this has the potential to inflame people to the point when they will come out of it very badly.
This could give us the publicity we need, to get offers of support from other countries and other political inclinations.
It is inevitable that will want to avoid shooting themselves in the foot.
When during the last 15 months everything has fallen apart for them, they may feel that tonights’ development is little more than worthless as indeed, in exactly the same way that a schoolboy has to admit at sometime that he is not fluent in a foreign language just because he can recite a few words from a foreign song, the NWO will at sometime have to admit to themselves that their achievements have merely been the result of deceptions and therefore, are fairly worthless achievements.

So let’s not feel disheartened about tonights’ developments.
Let’s see it as the start of the end for the NWO because in essence, I feel that this is what it is.

The mainstream media has hidden from the public that Britain & many other countries in the EU lose their sovereignty tonight.
This could ne not only because they don’ want us to know, but also because it might just not work in the NWO’s favour after all.
My own guess is that publicising it on the mainstream media would be like a person advertising that they’ve won the lottery – which is NOT a wise thing to do.

As people all over the UK join in singing Auld Lang Syne we dismiss the words of this song as folly, and while savouring the sentiment it brings, look forward to a new dawn.

In the trying times ahead, may God guard over us and protect us.

If corporations are psychopaths,
And countries are corporations,
Are countries psychopaths?

If persons are corporations,
and corporations are psychopaths,
are persons psychopaths?

If corporations are fictions,
And fiction does not exist,
do persons exist?

If fictions have names,
Then how can that be you?

If countries and corporations are psychopaths,
And persons agree to psychopathy,
What is a “person” to do? Well nothing.
Well what if the “person” were a trust?

The living soul will have work to do.

Slippery Slope in Crime Prevention: Tracking Your Every Move While You “DRIVE”

Feds: Privacy Does Not Exist in ‘Public Places’

The Obama administration has urged a federal appeals court to allow the government, without a court warrant, to affix GPS devices on suspects’ vehicles to track their every move.

Are you a potential suspect? Do own a gun? Do you have extra storage products of rice, water, or canned goods? Do you grow too many vegetables? Are you a dissident citizen? Are you an environmentalist? An anti-globalization activisit? Pro lifer? Constitutionalist? Are you late in paying your taxes?

If so you may qualify for this social benefit! Do you posesss a drivers license? Is your vehicle registered with the state?
All the police have to do now is shoot a dart at a moving vehicle to affix this lovely GPS tracking device and will be able to determine whether you’re a “weekly churchgoer, a heavy drinker, a regular at the gym, an unfaithful husband, an outpatient receiving medical treatment, an associate of particular individuals or political groups — and not just one such fact about a person, but all such facts.”

Other benefit priveleges available for public consumption include jail and servitude.

Are you the “person” that you carry around in your wallet? Youre always in private if you so choose. You enter the public when you identify yourself as the fictitious corporate person. “Show me your papers” is only a tool to distinguish citizen or resident or driver from the free living soul. In short, privacy ALWAYS exists in so called “public” places – IN FACT you have a right to your privacy which you will have to assert .

Dealing with Police: Traffic Stop

This was an interesting interaction that was recorded by someone on the World Freeman Society forum.

Ok, so here’s the way it went down… I recorded it on my cell phone but it’s an old phone and I don’t have any way to put it on my computer…

I was traveling to Calgary in my girlfriend’s truck (which is registered, insured, etc) and I obviously do not carry a “Driver’s License” anymore….

I was going about 130 in a 110 zone and sure enough the lights started flashing in my rear view mirror… The highway sherriff (a female) approaches my window…

Me: Good morning officer! (with a big smile) Are you a peace officer?
Her: Yes I am
Me: Have you observed me breach the peace today?
Her: You were speeding, 131 in a 1… (I cut her off)
Me: Violating a statute is not breaching the peace. Have you observed me breach the peace today?
Her: I need to see your… (I cut her off again)
Me: You don’t need to see anything, have you observed me breach the peace today?
Her: I need to see your…. (again cut off)
Me: According to the constitution act of 1982 I have a right to be free from interference with my personal affairs and the right to refuse interaction with a peace officer who has not observed me breach the peace, Is that correct?
Her: Well… (cut off yet again)
Me: Am I being detained?
Her: Sir I need to… (cut off)
Me: No, have you observed me breach the peace?
Her: No but you were (cut off)
Me: Am I being detained?
Her: Sir I… (you know by now that I cut her off again)
Me: Am I being detained?
Me: Am I free to go?
Her: No I need to (again)
Me: Am I being detained? I have a right against this. Am I being detained?
Her: No I just need (yup, again)
Me: So if I’m not being detained then I’m free to go right? Am I free to go?
Her: No I need (haha ya, again)
Me: If I’m not free to go then I’m being detained right? Am I being detained?
Her: No you’re not I just… (you get the picture)
Me: If I’m not being detained then I’m free to go… (starting truck again)
Her: (with hand on gun) Sir I need you to step… (wanted to say “out of the vehicle” but I cut her off again)
Me: If I’m not being detained then I am free to go right? Am I free to go or am I being detained?
Her: No…. (cut off)
Me: So if I’m not being detained and I’m not free to go what am I? I’m gonna drive away now (I put the truck in gear)
Her: (almost yelling at this point) Sir I need you to!… (cut off)
Me: You don’t need anything, I’m going to drive away now (I know I shouldn’t have used the word drive but whatever)

So at this point I let my foot off the brake and coasted forward a few feet. She just stood there with the most CONFUSED look on her face, and I had butterflies in my stomach that I thought were going to break through the skin and fly away…
I was expecting her to come chase me down and taser me or something but I looked in the mirror and she was still just standing there with a look that clearly said “What the hell just happened here?”

The headscarf is worn by women all over the globe.Headscarves may be worn for a variety of purposes, such as for warmth, for sanitation, for fashion or social distinction; with religious significance,to hide baldness, out of modesty, or other forms of social convention.

In the West or North America, we associate the head scarf with the old country. In recent years, there has been a push toward discouraging wearing the head scarf, masked as islamophobia, while images of porno-chic fashion are promulgated as social ideals. Have modesty and taste gone out of style?

Scarves can be very beautiful and are designed in infinite different patterns, fabrics, colors etc. Wearing one over your head might make you feel more chaste and may help you regulate your behavior if that is your goal. It will hide your bad hair day, keep your hair dryer instead of carrying an umbrella, and not to mention with the right scarf you can compliment or complete any outfit. By bringing attention away from your hair, you can accentuate those naturally beautiful facial features.

With the development of facial recognition software and CCTV cameras propping up in the post-911 world, one may wonder – do the powers that be just want to make us more identifiable? Or, is this just apart of their goal to secularize the world? Why do we associate headscarves only with muslim women? Do you have to be a muslim to wear one? Is our culture telling us how we ought to dress? Are laws trying to be passed to demand we dress a certain way? Do we not have a choice in how we dress?

Modesty is beautiful and being modest is not in any way oppression.
Show your love and support for women who choose to wear a headscarf by wearing one yourself Monday, November 8th, 2010 on International Head Scarf Day.

Feel free RSVP on Facebook and invite your friends @!/event.php?eid=154573684571114&ref=mf

Government VS Right To Travel

To legal definition of ‘drive’ is to use a vehicle for the purpose of conducting commerce. There are no restrictions on your right to travel, only on the priviledge of driving. But unless you are using your car for commerce (i.e. Taxi driver), you are not technically driving. When you apply for a license and registration, you place yourself and your vehicle under the jurisdiction of the government and court system. This is why some people choose not to obtain licenses in order to travel in their motorized vehicles.
